About birthroot Birthroot is an herb grown in the Midwest. It was used byNative Americans to strengthen female reproductive organs and promote short, speedy labor. Because of overharvesting and land clearing, this herb has become endangered. Through my work, I honor the knowledge of the Wise Woman that was once in danger of being lost.
